Lavender
Psychologically Lavender is soothing, balancing and calming and helps with mood swings and PMT. The calming properties of Lavender Essential Oil help induce relaxation and are therefore useful in meditation. Lavender essential oil improves mood and relieves stress by regulating the stress hormone, i.e., serotonin. Lavender contains an oil that seems to have calming effects and might relax certain muscles. It also seems to have antibacterial and antifungal effects.
